Cyprus Neuroscience Society Announces First Executive Committee

We are pleased to announce that the Cyprus Neuroscience Society (CNS) successfully held its first Electoral General Assembly on Friday, February 28, 2025, at the University of Cyprus. Following a transparent election process, we are delighted to introduce the newly elected Executive Committee and Audit Committee members who will lead our society forward for the next 3 years.

Executive Committee Members:

  • President: Dr. Panos Zanos
  • Vice President: Dr. Andrea Georgiou
  • Secretary: Dr. Andria Michail
  • Assistant Secretary: Mr. Morfeas Koumas
  • Treasurer: Mr. Stylianos Valiantis
  • Council Members: Dr. Vasileios Kafetzopolous and Mr. Markos Apostolakis

Audit Committee Members:

  • Dr. Polymnia Georgiou
  • Dr. Anna Onisiforou
  • Dr. Evanthia Bella

The Electoral Assembly was well-attended. The Executive Committee has already begun planning its first official meeting to establish a roadmap and timeline for implementing the society’s objectives.

We look forward to the active involvement of all members in supporting the smooth operation and development of the Cyprus Neuroscience Society.
